My denomination’s current image campaign on our Web site asks, “Who are the Wesleyans” then responds with, “We’re who you hope we are!” Many of my students think the campaign is silly because “We should just say who we are and not try to be everything to everybody.” But “authentically telling people who we are” is not as simple as it seems to sophomores in college.
