Secrets to Being a Good Dad

I have two sons who turned out pretty good so people often ask me what my ‘secret” was to being a good dad. Actually I had no “secrets” really and like every other dad sort of played it by ear as we went along. But when all these play-by-ear actions and policies are piled up in one place I suppose it does turn out to be a “recipe” of sorts.

I wasn’t a perfect dad by all means, but I did some things right. However, I don‘t plan to tell you what that are. Instead I’ll let you hear it form one of my sons who has “reverse engineered” my parenting as a dad and written a book that is not yet published. You can see it online until some publisher grabs it and makes you buy it on paper made from ground up trees.
